an other haul and i dash out

i didn't plan on buying anything today , but somehow i ended up in town in make up heaven ( awwwwwwwwwww ) so i managed to grab this  palette , i thought the colours were great and its not just eye shadows , but lips and cheeks too ( bonus ) .

 

i also got a lipgloss ( I'm so addicted to lip products ) and false eyelashes which i tried on and really liked :)

 

i do have two rimmel glosses similar to the one i got ( different flavours obviously ) and they taste sooo yum , i think ill do a tasty lipgloss post very soon

also these lashes are great as they are pre-glued and i always find it so hard to put on false eyelashes especially with the glue , things get too messy and sticky way too quickly looool 

here before i dash out , took some pictures of my look , unfortunately i didn't use my camera as i was being very lazy , i used photobooth instead and you cant tell but I've used my new w7 palette and i am wearing the lashes .

off to uni i go !! ootd and 1 item haul

this post is being written from the library ( at least I'm using my laptop looool ) i have to apologise for the  bad quality pictures , i was in a hurry to get to uni that i just thought ill use photobooth quickly after all its bad quality but when time is concerned i guess it gets the work done fast :)

so this week has been such a crappy week for me , i had a massive issue with submitting an essay electronically and then only realised on the day that i had a test so no revision was done before hand , and I'm sort of glad that this week has come to an end ( i never have any lectures what so ever on Fridays so i start my weekend early looool yaaaay me !!! ) . so after my depression and the crappy weather we've been experiencing didn't help , i decided to treat myself to something . so i got myself this lovely jumper at a vintage store :)

you may not know this , but I'm one of those people  who actually don't have a winter wardrobe , so i just layer up my summer clothes in winter and that's about it , however this year I've had a cold 4 times already so that's a sign telling me to get myself a proper winter wardrobe and cover up and keep warm.

you are beautiful , my darlings its a fact

going trough other people's blogs , tumblr pages , facebook pages , youtube videos and so on . i always comment on people's pages and say things like " you are so beautiful" and majority of times it makes me wish that i was just as pretty , beautiful and attractive as them . however its a myth !!!! really , all of us are beautiful but we just don't see or believe it . take this example :

 i have my many insecurities , there are days where i find myself feeling unattractive , or days in which i hate my nose and think its too big , or days in which i think I'm too fat , or bones on top of bones , however i still get comments on my blog saying I'm pretty or beautiful and I'm sure some of the people commenting felt the same way in which i feel when i comment on others pages .

too be honest , there is no need to be envious of other's looks or wish you were just as pretty as they are because if we only get past our own insecurities we will come to realise that we really are beautiful

and i think the next time you go on someone else's page , blog , youtube , tumblr  why not leave them a nice comment like " i think you are really pretty " and this time instead of feeling bad about yourself , feel the joy in knowing that you are beautiful in your own rights and the comment you are leaving is going to make the next person feel just as beautiful and good about themselves as you do , and lets share this love around so that every girl can feel just as beautiful as they truly are :)

the last rays may light your way

so this Sunday with all its glory , after church my lovely sister decided to take me around some of her favourite furniture and decor stores ( as i want to decorate my room ) but i have so many ideas that i cant organise them all in one big idea .

anyways the sun was out so i decided to do some shopping  and oh my !!! some great finds i found :) not furniture or anything , but clothes :D  .
i love buying  vintage clothes , fair trade/charity shops clothing as it makes me feel like I'm doing my bit for the environment  :D after all recycling is great for the environment and can be super stylish ;D .

about the items i got , i went to Bernardo ( the children's charity ) shop and the clothes in there are old stocks or faulty clothing from popular high street stores . i ended up getting this white blazer which is size 20 , however this didn't bother me as i just loved the cut and the fact that i didn't have a white blazer just pushed me to purchase this .

also i got a pair of  trousers which have been  on my wish list for a while now , but being a student and a very poor one , i refused to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a pair of trousers. so when i found the perfect pair  in my size and in black , i just had to get them :D


apart from that i had a great weekend and with the sun making a rare appearance , i can honestly catching some of the last rays was the perfect end to a lovely weekend :)

in order to grow change must take place

sitting on my bed wearing a dress i had purchased 2 years ago , i reminisce of the past 2 years . these two years I've managed to gain and loose friends as well as weight . I've managed break hearts as well as get my heart broken . I've learnt to care and not care ( depending on the situation) . Ive learnt to let go of things which had no positive impact  on my life and hold on to those which did . i guess i can say that I've grown a lot throughout these 2 years ( not in height though  I'm still 5"3" ) .

 
and yet there's still more to see , more growing to do , more to feel . i get a rush just thinking of it , a mixture of emotions , excitement , fear , joy , sadness , curiosity . and even though I'm excited to get to see , do , taste , feel the future , I'm also secretly hopping that time would flow as slow as slow can be , just so i can really take in this moment .

its funny looking in the mirror and not just seeing the same old girl from 2 years ago staring back at you , instead an improved version  stares back at you . this time 2 years ago  there were things i wanted to achieve , and now that I've gotten what i wanted , i don't want to forget what it took to get it , the journey , whether good or bad , the tears , the laughter , the support as well as the let downs, the constant worry , the stress , the phone calls and text messages . the not knowing what tomorrow will bring and yet still have that gut feeling that all will somehow fall into place , not one bit i want to forget . and as I'm writing this , I'm also thinking of new things I'd like to achieve in the next 2 years to come and i just hope i don't loose my way .

if you're wondering , i got this dress 2 years ago when i went shopping for a dress for presentation evening ( an evening in which you are presented with you're GCSE/ A level certificates and your academic achievements are celebrated )  with my then friend ( i guess you loose those not worthy of you whilst growing up and finding ourselves ) and i was determined to find a sweet girly dress and yet elegant enough for the evening as i didn't want to look like all the other girls wearing tight dresses or club wear ( I'm not really into skin tight dresses ) i love this dress so much , it was the perfect thing to wear then . I'm hoping to make it to presentation evening this year in order to get my A level certificates and if i do , i have no idea what to wear this time -_-

an outing in the sun

i had a really nice day out with my friend today (well yesterday since its 2:30 in the morning )
the weather wasn't as hot , but it was warm so i was really happy , as i hate it when it gets extremely hot and you can feel your skin burning and the sweat dripping D: ewwwww its just gross .
anyways the aim of the day out was for me to find a cute playsuit , I've seen some online that i really wanted , but i didn't buy them in time and now they are out of stock or don't have my size . so i saw one which was ok , however , i hate getting clothes online unless i am perfectly sure of the size , material , quality , colour , fit . style etc.....
there's nothing worse then getting something online and when you finally get to put it on , its nothing you expected it to be , and it turns out to be worse ( its happened to me before ) .
so i set out to find something on the high street of similar price as the ones online ( also that means I'm saving money on postage and packaging )

i mainly went Camden town to find my playsuit as i love love love love it there loooool i really did consider getting one of those t-shirts which says " i love Camden " hahahaha i might go back and get it :)



i did find various ones but i really liked this , it was just so comfortable and cute also easy to wear and its casual , but I'm sure with a few accessories here and there you can dress it up . i got this from Camden market , to be honest it was £25 , however , the beauty of buying from these markets is if you know how to you can get a bargain , and oohh my , i talked the man into selling it for me at the price of £15 :D i was soooo happy looool .





finally whilst browsing the other stores , i fell upon this skirt , really the only reason it caught my eye was firstly the price , it was £5 and my budget for the playsuit was £20 (i always set myself challenges to find what I'm looking for within a budget ) so i had a fiver left to spend on whatever , then the colour , i lovvvvvve yellow , omg , banana yellow my ultimate favourite colour :D bright colours just puts me in such a good mood . and then the shape of the skirt , like i don't remember anymore but I'm sure i saw the shape of this skirt in the first sex and the city movie , if not then it has to be lipstick jungle either way i loved it and when i got closer i realised it was from asos so i took it to the changing rooms .

i don't know about you , but i have a size issue :( which means firstly buying things online is extremely difficult and even buying things in a store is difficult too , the only way for me to really know how something would fit me is try it on .

and as much as i like browsing on the asos website for something cute for me to buy , i never end up buying from there because of the size issue and for some reason i always have to get like 2 size smaller in asos and that really makes me feel idk sad :( and to make matters worse even when i do get 2 size smaller it sometimes seems too big .

but yh the skirt did fit , not what i imagined it would look like but it wasn't bad either , they had a navy version so i might go back to get that :) I'm not too sure yet .

wooooohooooo to that party

so it was one of my bestfriends party , and she was had a fancy dress party , it was soooo sooo sooo much fun and i really did enjoy myself :D





i went as a show girl and for my face , i ecided to do this look using artificial flowers and a false eyes lashes , i would defo do a tutorial on my youtube page , however im having troubles with my youtube page at the moment and for some reasons i cant log on to it .


as for my outfit i decided to just wear the two items you've previewsly seen in my hauls and i teamed it with simple blacl sandals :) .
